Saving lives with airbabyTM

Our first patent pending device, airbabyTM is a respiratory assist bCPAP that helps babies breathe. This is particularly useful for premature infants suffering from Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS).

Innovation

Affordable

airbabyTM delivers most of the functionality of the Gold Standard at a fraction of the price.

Transportable

airbabyTM is fully transportable, ensuring continued life support in transit.

Grid/Battery Operable

Both grid-energy independent and power efficient, this device works in regions with unreliable electricity.

FDA Standard Features

Our technology is designed to meet the highest regulatory standards, ensuring both functionality and safety.

Reusable

airbabyTM features consumables that can be sanitized and reused across multiple babies.

Easy To Maintain

Modular designed components ensure that each device can be easily and quickly repaired or replaced if need be.

How it all begun

Therapeutic Innovation (TI) begun as an initiative to address healthcare inaccessibility, primarily in developing countries. Over the years, through countless research and development, we have answered the call to one of the world's most pressing concerns; infant mortality due to respiratory distress syndrom (RDS). We can save these infants with the help of airbabyTM

The Problem

Current medical devices are inaccessible. Due to high prices, ineffective technology, and lack of after-market support, developing countries experience inaccessibility to otherwise life-saving technology. The few devices they are able to get their hands on often breakdown, due to bad design, and stay in a state of disrepair due to the complexity in repairing them.

In countries where an overwhelming majority of premature deaths occur, it is gravely important to provide affordable, high-quality medical devices to combat premature infant mortality.

15 million

Babies born premature each year gloablly.

12 million

Premature babies that suffer from Respiratory Distress Sydrome (RDS).

10 million

Premature babies that die within their first month of life from treatable causes like RDS.

90%

Premature deaths that occur in developing countries.

1 life-saving solution

These premature babies don't have to die.
There is a solution that works, and we know how to develop it.
We can save them.

Testimonials

I am so impressed with airbaby! I had the chance to tinker with it and it meets all our requirements; oxygen/air blending, pressure regulation, humidification and heating of inspired gas, and it is very quiet. All these factors are key in ensuring premature baby survival.

The Therapeutic Innovation team has been, over the years, attentive to our pain points and have delivered a fully functional bubble CPAP that is both affordable and effective. This will help tremendously in saving lives in and out of the NICU.
Dr. Charlyne Kilba
Greater Accra regional hospital - Accra, Ghana.
I've worked in low-resourced hospitals, where buying CPAPs was a problem due to how expensive they are. In those hospitals there was significant infant mortality due to ineffective respiratory management. If we can get a more affordable device like airbaby, we can give babies a good chance at survival.
